Berry Grower – Tailwater Sampling Season
 Visit all berry growers to observe and document tailwater sampling. Deliver kits as needed.

Supply list:
  • Mason jar
  • Turbidity chart
  • Nitrate test strips
  • 10 pesticide bottles (1 per year per field type)
May not be needed if already completed for your ranch.

TNA & INMP Report Prep
Info needed per ranch:
  • Planting records
  • Applied fertilizer by crop & ranch (organic, conventional & compost)
  • Total gallons of water by ranch
  • Lab report for well taken in May (wells@ccwqp.org)
  • Soil test
  • Summary of crops planted and acres by ranch
  • Summary of crop harvest records

 Hard deadline is March 1st — target completion by February 15th.

Field Work
Tailwater Sampling
 Update SEMPS / INMP / PMP (Farm Plans). All ranches must be visited at least once during this period to update plans and collect tailwater samples.

Sampling season runs March – May; results due by May 31st.
Sampling requirements:
  • ALL domestic wells
  • At least 1 PRIMARY irrigation well
