We have 4 options for growers to choose from, and if you’d like a custom blend, choose OTHER.

In-furrow - Bottom break

A radish, mustard, and arugula blend built for in-row planting on strawberry ground. Terminates with a simple tillage pass through the bottoms, no chemicals needed, making it a fit for organic operations. Nitro radish breaks up compaction while mustard and arugula add biofumigant protection against soilborne disease and nematodes. Seed includes Elevate'd Fungi biological inoculant. Good for growers who need clean, in-row termination without chemical burndown.

Bell Pepper Mix - Low Biomass

A low-residue blend of spring barley, winter wheat, lentils, and forage peas for soil protection and nitrogen, paired with mustard, arugula, and radish for natural biofumigant benefits against soilborne pathogens and nematodes. Terminates and works in quickly, so you're not fighting heavy residue before spring planting. Seed includes RhizoBac X-Tend and Elevate'd Fungi biological inoculants. Good for growers who want cover crop benefits without extra spring workload.

Over Winter - Dense Planting

A heavy planting of winter triticale and sudangrass for maximum biomass, paired with forage pea, nitro radish, safflower, and flax for nitrogen, root diversity, and pollinator value. Builds significant organic matter and erosion protection through the winter but grows tall and takes more effort to work in come spring. Seed includes Elevate'd Fungi biological inoculant. Good for growers who want maximum soil-building and are ready for the extra spring workload.

Roads Mix

A perennial fescue, brome, and clover blend built to protect roads and hillsides from erosion and turbidity, for ground that falls outside the block or furrows. Chewings and creeping red fescue form a dense, low-maintenance turf, while Dutch white clover adds nitrogen and resilience. Seed includes Elevate'd Fungi biological inoculant. Good for growers protecting roads or hill ground outside the planting area.

Salinas Mustard Mix

Exactly like the Bell Pepper Mix minus the cabbage.
